You pick. Skub offers three permission tiers at connect time — and never requests permanent-delete on any of them.

• Notify only — read-only. Skub classifies your mail and pings you in Telegram; every action happens on your tap in Gmail itself.
• Triage (default) — read, archive, label, move. Skub can organize your inbox but never sends.
• Full assistant — triage plus sending. Needed for tap-to-reply and grounded auto-replies.

You can change a mailbox's tier any time from Settings — Skub revokes the old token at Google and re-consents with narrower scopes. Not “trust us”; verifiable.
